I can’t count how many times as a Teen I had wished for a real working Lightsaber , it was the coolest thing ever. I guess since watching the First Star Wars movie it was planted in my brain that I wanted to have my own Lightsaber. when I was a teen the things didn’t exist , only on the movie screen, there weren’t even decent toy modules of it .
Over the years the toy companies have Upped their game in producing some decent Plastic Lightsabers .
So Now ! A YouTuber has entered the Guinness Book of World Records after creating the world’s first retractable “lightsaber”. Alex Burkan, who runs the YouTube channel Alex Lab, created a device that looks much like the lightsabers of “Star Wars” fame. It can produce a 1-meter (3.3-foot) long plasma blade when initiated. And it’s far from just a fancy torch, the 2,800°C (5,072°F) blade can cut through steel.
