More than 30 centimetres of snow fell in the Town of Yarmouth on Saturday.
Crews have been working to remove the snow from streets and sidewalks.
The town says work will continue over the next couple of days, and sidewalks on main arterial roads should be completed today.
Mayor Pam Mood says if you can, it’s not a bad idea to help clear snow away from fire hydrants.
“Dig around it, help clear it out and help the firefighters and your community. Clear your sidewalk and walk-way if you’re able to, and together we’ll get everything done more quickly,” says Mood.
Sidewalks on side streets should be cleared within the next two days.
Mood thanks everyone for their patience as they clean up from this significant storm.
