The Yarmouth Junior A Mariners dropped their final game before the holiday break, 4-3 in overtime to the Amherst Ramblers.
Alex Roode, Kurtis Lang and Logan Danis scored, and Christophe Beluse made 44 saves.
Yarmouth fell behind 2-1 in the second, but scored twice to take the lead before the Ramblers would tie it.
Sam Michaud of the Ramblers scored with 16 seconds left in overtime to secure the extra point.
The Mariners sit two points ahead of Amherst for first in the Eastlink South Division
The loss ended Yarmouth’s perfect December, and win streak at six games.
