Bay View won the 2021 Timber Cup, defeating Avon View 4-0 in the championship game yesterday at Mariners Centre.
Par-en-Bas lost in a shootout 3-2 to the Avalanche in yesterday morning’s semifinal, while Yarmouth fell 4-1 to Bay View.
At the end of the round robin, Avon View led the way with the most points, and faced the fourth ranked Sharks, while Bay View had the second most points.
Teams from Digby, Clare and West Kings also took part in the three day tournament.
The event made its return after a year long absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It’s the second straight Timber Cup for Bay View, who were crowned the 2019 champions.
