If you could go Christmas shopping at any store that no longer exists, where would you go ?

Good Morning Christmas shoppers !

Do you remember the BLUE LIGHT Specials at K-Mart back in the day ?

There have been many shopping places closed or have gone out of business over the years . K-mart ,locally it was a shopping giant .

Zellers was another great store for shopping of any kind, the selection was good and the prices of the time were decent. Zellers became a huge shopping experience when it became a Big Part of The Yarmouth Mall . In this area ” Yarmouth” Zellers first started out on main street as a 2 level shopping store, the basement had Pets and toys , it was my favorite part of a trip to Town as a kid . ” Mike the Myna Bird ” remember him ?  .. He He .

 

lets not forget The Met on main street, ” next to the Zellers original location ”  The Met was a ” Middle of the road” shopping experience with Fair to good quality goods at a lower price point than it’s competitors of the time.

If I had to go Way back and dig deep in the memory bag . As a very young and excited kid, I have memories of Toy Land at The Royal Store , if memory serves me , it was located upstairs where Y95 is currently located .
