The Clare Loups fell twice on the weekend. They lost to Parkview 7-1 at home Friday. Chad Reddick had the lone goal. On Saturday, the Loups were shutout 7-0 at Avon View.
The Digby Mariners beat Middleton 5-3 on the road Saturday. Kaiden Longmire had two goals and five points, Avery Gunn, Colby Haight and Brett Hall also scored, and Eric Dickie got the win in goal.
In Girls League action, the YCMHS Vikings beat NKEC 10-1 Saturday night at Mariners Centre. Renee Olsen had five goals, Mercedes Melanson had a hat-trick, Madison Cushing and Karli MacDonald also scored, and Grace Berry got the win in net.
The Timber Cup goes this weekend in Yarmouth, with the host Vikings and Par-en-Bas Sharks welcoming Digby, Clare, West Kings, Bayview and Avon View to town.
