The Town of Yarmouth will light their Christmas tree and all of Frost Park this Friday night.
The Yarmouth Fire Department wants you to bring some extra winter clothes for donation.
Stewart Deveau, President of the Yarmouth Fire Department Association says they’ll be collecting hats, mittens, scarves and any other winter apparel for underprivileged children in the community.
“The fact that we’re able to get back out to the public and resume collecting is great. We are trying to help young people who need it,” says Deveau.
Department volunteers will also be collecting letters to Santa.
A firetruck will be located near town hall for drop-offs, and department members will be circulating.
“Anyone who has a donation or any child with a letter to Santa, simply find one of our firefighters or find the red lights flashing and drop if off at the truck.”
The tree lighting begins at 6 p.m.
