Public Health will be holding rapid COVID-19 testing in Yarmouth, beginning next week.
Yarmouth MLA Zach Churchill says the testing will start on Tuesday, November 16th.
“At the NSCC Burridge Campus in Yarmouth. That will be available in the gym. People are encouraged to get out and get rapid tests done, to know if you’re a carrier,” says Churchill.
Take home tests will also be available.
Churchill says as Yarmouth area sees its highest case totals of the pandemic, and it’s a reminder that we’re still in the fourth wave.
He encourages those who haven’t already to get vaccinated, as it’s the best way to prevent spread.
