The YCMHS Vikings fell to Central Kings 3-2 at Mariners Centre on Friday. Ryder Travis and Landon Watkins-Bonnar had the goals, Braeden Hipson in net for the loss. Yarmouth then beat Middleton 8-4 on the road Saturday. Ryder Travis had a hat-trick, Ben LeBlanc scored twice, Isaac Tunnicliff, Landon Watkins-Bonnar and Cameron Brown each scored. Brady Saulnier got the win in goal.
The Par-en-Bas Sharks lost 6-2 at Northeast Kings on Friday night. Spencer Surette and Carson d’Eon had the goals, Miguel Surette was in goal. The Sharks followed up with a win in their home opener over Digby on Saturday, 7-1. Blake Newell had a hat-trick, Caleb d’Entremont scored twice, Dominic Jacquard and Chandler LeBlanc also had goals, and Rylan LeBlanc got the victory in net. Daniel Jamieson scored for the Digby Mariners.
The Clare Loups fell 12-3 to Northeast Kings at home on Saturday. Nicholas Gaudet, Nema Hanna and Gaetan Deveau all scored for Clare, Mathieu LeBlanc and Cohen Neil split duties in net. Clare then lost 7-3 in Digby yesterday. Noah MacLean had two goals and Chase Comeau had the other. Callum Longmire had a hat-trick for the Mariners. Avery Gunn, Kaiden Longmire, Kyle VanTassel and Daniel Jamieson also scored, and Eric Dickie was the winning netminder.
On Friday, the Barrington Barons beat Middleton 5-2 on home ice. Jory Stewart scored twice, Lucas Nickerson, Colten Hatter and Cohen Nickerson also scored. Jacob Atwood got the victory in net.
