A Yarmouth County man has been charged for making harassing phone calls to the RCMP.
28 year old Dryden Frederick Clayton Perry of Dayton was charged with harassing communications and breach of probation, and was released on conditions.
Yarmouth Rural RCMP say a man called the Operational Communications Centre on Monday to inquire about an investigation.
They say during the phone call, the man was belligerent, disrespectful and offensive with the RCMP call-taker.
Over a thirty minute span, he called RCMP and openly stated he intended to waste police time and would continue calling.
This despite multiple warnings concerning the proper use of emergency services.
RCMP then attended the man’s home and arrested him.
Perry will appear in Yarmouth Provincial Court on November 8th.
