The CAT pulled into Yarmouth Harbour this morning.
The Bay Ferries run vessel is currently sailing between Bar Harbour, Maine, and Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, for regulatory certification of crew members, technical trials and in dock testing.
It docked at the Yarmouth International Ferry Terminal , which is currently finishing up its first phase of upgrades.
Bay Ferries has said the ferry will return for the 2022 season after three years out of service.
The province has a contract with Bay Ferries to operate the ferry service through the 2025 operating season.
