The Yarmouth Chris Scott Construction U15 Gateways won the AA Provincial championship over the weekend.
They defeated New Glasgow 4-1 in the final game on Sunday.
Drew Jeffrey pitched five innings and was named player of the game, and Cameron Barnes pitched the final two innings.
They began the tournament on Friday with a 2-1 win over New Glasgow, as Liam Surette batted in Blake Newell in the bottom of the seventh for the win. Newell also pitched a complete game with 16 strikeouts.
The Gateways defeated Dartmouth 4-2 on Saturday, with Nolan Hill pitching 6 2/3 innings and hitting his first home-run.
Later, Yarmouth defeated Hants North 6-3, with Drew Jeffrey starting the game and Drew Muise pitching the final five innings. Ben Lyons won player of the game for his two diving catches in the outfield.
They’ll represent Nova Scotia at Atlantics in Moncton later this month.
