It seems areas of Digby County were hardest hit by the remnants of Hurricane Ida yesterday.
Environment Canada reported a total of 125 millimetres of rain fell in Brier Island, the highest amount in the province.
The Department of Public Works said yesterday that several roads in Digby Neck and Long Island were washing out and flooding.
They said the gravel section of Culloden Road was impassable.
RCMP reported a motor vehicle accident on Highway 217 in Waterford, which was washed out, and asked motorists to avoid the area.
