Fire destroyed a dwelling in Overton, Yarmouth County yesterday afternoon.
At around 5 p.m, smoke could be seen from town as Yarmouth firefighters responded to the blaze on Highway 304, past the intersection of Overton Road.
Chief Mike Deveau says the building was occupied, but thankfully no one was injured.
RCMP attended and determined the cause of the fire was not suspicious.
The Port Maitland and Lake Vaughan fire departments were also dispatched.
Firefighters were on scene for about two hours.
