It’s a bit cooler this morning as compared to the past week, the temperature this morning in the Tri – counties ranges from 7 to 13 degrees.
If your a camper you probably find these cooler morning temps a relief from the warm muggy nights we have had over the past couple weeks.
Camping means different things to people, it can be roughing it in the back country or tenting in a provincial park or Glamping !.. yes Glamping.. and just what is Glamping ?
This definition from Wikipedia : Glamping is a portmanteau of “glamorous” and “camping“, and describes a style of camping with amenities and, in some cases, resort style services not usually associated with “traditional” camping. Glamping has become particularly popular with 21st century tourists seeking the luxuries of hotel accommodation alongside “the escapism and adventure recreation of camping”.
Some people prefer to camp in their camper trailer , parked seasonal in a local park or travel to various provincial parks .
Camping can be a s simple as a tent pitched next to a lake or in the woods somewhere.
I personally prefer camping in a tent , give me an air mattress , quality sleeping bag and a cook stove , a hatchet or axe to cut some fire food and I am good to go .
