A tournament will take place tomorrow at the West Pubnico Golf and Country Club.
It’s to support the Villa St. Joseph du Lac in Yarmouth.
One of the organizers, Phil Mooney, says it helps give back to seniors.
“The foundation is more than willing to lend a helping hand, and get the help the seniors need. They’ve provided so much to the community over the years, it’s time for us to give something back to them,” says Mooney.
There are over 20 teams of four registered, and they’ll be playing for the Danny MacKenzie Memorial Trophy.
Over $100,000 has been raised over the years, helping the Villa with their bus, theme days and much more.
Mooney says celebrity guests include Yarmouth hockey player Allie Munroe, along with Kennedy Marchment, who will be her teammate in Connecticut in the NWHL this season.
