A new poll shows the Liberals are ahead in the Nova Scotia provincial election.
The latest survey from Leger has found the Liberals have 42 per cent of the vote among decided voters.
The Conservatives follow with 32 per cent, the NDP have 20 per cent, and the Greens are at 5 per cent support. One per cent would vote for another party.
“Satisfaction with the government remains high, at 54%, and Iain Rankin is perceived as the best premier by 30% of the population,” says CEO Jean-Marc Léger in a news release. “Anything can happen in a pandemic context, and the game is far from over. In fact, 36% of decided voters may still change their minds.”
The survey was conducted among 300 Nova Scotia voters from July 31 to August 2nd.
Those polled were asked questions such as “if the Nova Scotia provincial election were held today, for which political party would you be most likely to vote?”
The news release say Leger was the most accurate polling firm for the 2019 Canadian federal election and the 2020 New Brunswick and British Columbia provincial elections.
