Yarmouth’s Ryan Graves is on the move.
The Colorado Avalanche dealt the defender to the New Jersey Devils yesterday in exchange for Mikhail Maltsev and a second round pick in next week’s draft.
Reports say the Avs made the move ahead of next week’s Expansion Draft, as Graves would have been exposed to the Seattle Kraken.
The 26 year old spent parts of three seasons with the Avalanche, and had six points in 10 playoff games this Spring.
He played his first NHL game with the Avalanche on December 27th 2018, and has racked up 46 points in 149 career games played.
Graves led the NHL in +/- in the 2019-20 season.
He was originally drafted by the New York Rangers in the fourth round of the 2013 NHL Draft.
