RCMP are investigating after an incident involving a burned out cab and robbery in Yarmouth County.
Around 12:40 a.m. on Thursday, Yarmouth Rural RCMP responded to a robbery complaint on Highway 103 in Argyle.
Police learned on arrival that a cab driver had been assaulted and forcibly removed from his cab by his fares.
The driver was not seriously injured.
Not long after, the cab was found on fire on Highway 335 in Pubnico.
The fire was extinguished by the West Pubnico Fire Department.
Police say they’re investigating, and anyone with information is asked to contact Yarmouth Rural RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
