The emergency department at Roseway Hospital will be closed through the day into tomorrow morning.
The closure begins at 7 a.m. and runs until tomorrow at 8 a.m.
Nova Scotia Health says this is due to the unavailability of a physician.
They urge anyone with an emergency to call 911 immediately, and for non-emergency medical advice from a registered nurse, dial 811.
