RCMP have released more details about a person of interest in a robbery that took place in downtown Yarmouth.
Y95 News confirmed the store was Toots Confectionery on Main Street.
On June 8th before 4:30 p.m, a man entered the store and approached the employee behind the counter.
The man showed the employee a knife, took cash from the register and left the store on foot.
The person of interest is described as a man, 5’11, with light-coloured skin and short hair.
He was wearing a black windbreaker, red baseball cap and black and white Under Armour sneakers.
Yarmouth Town RCMP say he was observed outside the store for a period of time prior to the offence, and it’s believed he spoke with at least one person passing by the store.
They say they’d like to contact anyone that may have passed by the suspect outside the store.
Anyone with information is asked to call Yarmouth Town RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
