A three-year strategic plan is now in place for the Municipality of the District of Yarmouth.
Council says the plan will focus on the people, economy, governance and stewardship of the region.
Warden John Cunningham says the plan will involve accountability to MODY residents.
“We know that MODY has tremendous momentum, and this plan will provide a road map to cultivate opportunities through due-diligence and governance.”
The plan will include a focus on future opportunities and economic growth, including internet and cell coverage, the fishery and tourism.
It will also examine strengths and weaknesses to identify areas of need, and pledges to improve inter-municipal agreements with partners.
