A road in the Municipality of Clare will be closed for just over two weeks, starting today.
Repairs to the Sam Saulnier Bridge on Placide Comeau Road are taking place, closing the road from Trunk 1 to Second Division Road.
Maitenence crew will be replacing the timber beams and deck, according to the Department of Transportation.
A 7.8 kilometre detour will be in place while work is underway.
Motorists are asked to detour through Trunk 1, Eustache Comeau Road, Maza Road and Second Division Road.
The department says the work will likely not have a major impact on traffic.
The closure will last until June 11.
