There’s an active case of COVID-19 in the Tri-Counties.
It’s only the third time there’s been a case in the Yarmouth, Shelburne and Digby Community Health Network.
The case is a close contact of a previously reported case, and the individual has been self-isolating, as required.
It was part of seven new cases announced on Easter Sunday, and three in the Western Zone. The other two cases were close contacts of previously reported cases.
There were three in the Central Zone, two related to travel outside Atlantic Canada, and another a close contact, while the Eastern Zone had a case related to travel.
The province has 34 active cases of COVID-19.
