A power outage is affecting about 1,100 NS Power customers on Cape Sable Island this morning.
The area from the Causeway down to Lower Clark’s Harbour lost power at about 5:40 a.m.
The Tri-County Regional Centre for Education says Clark’s Harbour Elementary School is closed today due to the outage.
NS Power says the cause is high winds.
Estimated restoration time is 1:45 p.m.
