Fire gutted a home in Grosses Coques, Digby County yesterday.
Officials got word early in the afternoon about the blaze at the two-storey building on Highway 1.
There were no injuries.
A man in his 70s was displaced, he was not home at the time of the fire.
The Canadian Red Cross in Yarmouth says they are assisting him with lodging, meals and clothing.
The St. Bernard Fire Department responded, along with departments from Little Brook, Weymouth, Havelock and Southville.
