We certainly have had a few snow storms this year. Today might be the coldest day of the year and the problem is not so much the snow but the blowing snow! There is a wind warning in effect and there have been many accidents today. When I drove to Yarmouth this morning on the 103, you could hardly see 10 feet in front of you. It was pretty scary! So since many of you will probably be driving home after work, I thought it would be a good idea to go over some driving in snow tips!
Ben’s Driving In Snow Tips
- Clear your car and windows off before hitting the road
- Drive with extreme caution and slow down
- Use four way flashers in white out conditions and when driving slow
- Turn on headlights! (don’t leave them on auto, turn them on all the way)
- Try not to break too fast or speed up too fast
