I have been following the long range forecast and it seems that we here in the Western Part of N.S will or may get some snow next week ( Possibly Tuesday ) .

Snow has been somewhat of a rarity in the Tri -Counties making winter activities difficult or non existent.
As a kid I could always count on Jan thru March playing Pond Hockey on my Uncle George’s Pond where half or most of the neighborhood came to play Hockey / Lake Skating , Great Pubnico lake was a local favorite along with French Lake ” Google Them ” and Hill Sliding at many locations .” That was back in the day ” as the saying goes.
The Winters are shorter and the Summers are warmer , leading to change in activities for Individuals and families looking for something to do seasonally .

For many people winter has been a time to escape the cold and snow to head to warmer destinations BUT ! Covid 19 had changed that .
