Since COVID started I have been watching a ton of classic movies. Over the past few mouths I have probably watched about 20 or so from the 70s,80s and 90s. From Midnight Cowboy from 1969 to Dazed and Confused in 1993! Now I already did a blog on some of my favorite 80s movies but now its time for the 70s!
I truly think that the 1970s might have been one of if not thee best decade for cinema. There are movies that were released in those 10 years that were way before their time. Just watching a 70s movie puts you in a good mood! I find I love the picture quality, it’s a lot warmer and the colors are a lot brighter and more vibrant. Movies in the 70s looked a lot better then what we have now in my opinion if we are talking about picture quality! I suppose it’s because those movies were filmed on real film!
Anyway enough about the picture. Let’s talk about the movies themselves! There is a wide variety of genres from the 70s when it comes to movies, just like any other decade. There are silly comedies, horror movies and love stories just to name a few. I’m going to share with you my 10 favorite movies from the 1970s in order. One being my favorite. There are a whole buntch of different movies on this list and I like them all for different reasons. I also have to keep watching more from the 70s and see how my list changes. Check it out!
