Winter is on the way! There I said it! I’m sorry but seriously it is on the way. Fall is in full swing and you can already feel it getting colder. Now last Winter was not terrible. We had some bad storms but no snow really stuck around much, at least here in the Tri Counties. That’s not abnormal though usually that’s how our Winters play out. Some days it’s nice other days it is bitter cold. Since 2020 has been one of the worst years yet I thought I would check the Farmer’s Almanac and see their prediction for the 2020/2021 season! I was pleasantly surprised!
The Old farmer’s almanac says this about this Winter in Nova Scotia…
“Winter temperatures will be above normal, on average, with the coldest periods in early to mid-December, mid- and late January, mid-February, and from late February into early March. Precipitation and snowfall will be near to below normal in the north and above normal in the south, with the snowiest periods in mid-December, mid-January, early to mid-February, and early to mid-March.” www.almanac.com/weather/longrange/NS/Halifax
That is encouraging! Who knows though. We could be in for a bad Winter but then again maybe not. If any Winter was going to be a bad one it would probably be Winter 2020 though! We’ll have to see. What do you think? Will we have a bad Winter this year? Make your production below! Give me a call and we can talk about it too (1800-496-2557)!
