Today I would like to talk toys , not just any toy but the 1 and only Rubik’s Cube !
Erno Rubik made the first cube in 1974 and called it the Magic Cube.
Rubik sold the puzzle to Ideal Toy & Novelty Company, it renamed the puzzle Rubik’s Cube and started stocking store shelves with them in 1980 .
It still remains a popular toy today , with over 350 million cubes sold worldwide, It is widely considered to be the world’s best-selling toy.
Just a couple days ago, Rubik’s Cube was in the process of being sold to a Canadian Company ( Spin Master ) that owns classic toys like Etch A Sketch 
and Aerobie

Spin master is said to be paying $50Million for Rubik’s Cube (A Statement from CTV news ” The Rubik deal is expected to close on Jan. 4, 2021 ” ) Spin-Master — which generated US$1.58 billion in revenue for the year ended Dec. 31, 2019 ( CP-CTV ) .. In my opinion , A sweet deal for the worlds best selling toy.
For those who haven’t seen or touched a Rubik’s Cube, it can be described as a cube made up of smaller cubes — that rotate around a central core..
The big cube begins with each of its faces made up of squares of the same colour — usually three by three by three.
The challenge is to give the cubes a spin and then try to get them back to their original configuration — a surprisingly difficult thing to do given the number of possible configurations.
