Two men have been charged in the death of 26-year-old Colton James Cook.
RCMP say they arrested 57-year-old Robert Charles Rogers and 36-year-old Wayne Richard Crawford, both of Yarmouth Co., in Digby Co. Thursday.
Police say they have each been charged with Murder and Interference with Human Remains.
The men appeared in Yarmouth Provincial Court Friday and are being held in custody.
Crawford will next appear in Yarmouth Provincial Court on Oct. 5 and Rogers is to appear in Shelburne Provincial Court on Oct. 29.
RCMP say partial remains were found on Sept. 27 near a burned vehicle.
They say Cook’s “identifiable remains” were found near the intersection of Saunders Rd. and Raynardton Rd. in Yarmouth Co on Sept. 29.
Police say their investigation is ongoing.
