Scams! They are everywhere now! Online, on the phone and even in person. Some are obvious scams like the classic “This is your captain speaking, you’ve won a cruise!” Some however, are a little harder to see through! The ones that get me are the emails. Some scammers can make an email look so realistic that you might actually click on a link that they send you. I have done this before and nothing happened but it is so easy these days to be tricked. The ones that don’t trick me though are the phone calls. I find them pretty funny actually!
I like to kind of waste the scammer’s time which might seem mean but, they are scamming people so I think that it’s kind of my duty! Who knows how many people they have stolen money from why not mess with them a bit? One pretty funny call that comes to mind was a man pretending to be from Microsoft, you might have gotten this one too. He claimed that my computer had virus on it and he needed to take it over and fix it! I went along with him for about 15 minutes and then told him I actually didn’t have a computer. This made him REALLY mad! He actually cursed at me and hung up. I hope that taught him a lesson but probably not! watch out for scammers especially the ones on the phone and online they can be very convincing. When in doubt just hang up or delete the email!
