The latest Burn Safe map from the Nova Scotia government shows Shelburne and Queens counties as having a total burn ban in place.
The rest of the province is listed as “restricted burn day”, which means burning can only take place between 7:00 tonight and 8 am tomorrow.
The provincial map is updated every afternoon at 2:00.
