I really love old things! Antiques I mean. It is incredible how some items are still around even after hundreds of years or more. Mainly I think the reason is they were made better and made to last. I collect all kinds of old things especially radios and record players and things like that. I do have some really old stuff though! I have an old WW1 bayonet which is kinda cool! I also have some really old books and Vinyl from the 20s not to mention an old Victrola gramophone that is over one hundred years old!
What is cool is that many antiques out there really still are in good shape for the most part! It is crazy how many of the items were just everyday things to the people of the time and some were even considered trash! I think the Tri Counties are overflowing with antiques. Everyone I know either has or knows someone who collects old things or have old antique family heirlooms.
