Argyle-Barrington MLA Colton LeBlanc has good news on the fight to improve a local highway exit.
LeBlanc notes that improvements to Exit 32 on Highway 103 have been a priority of his since he was elected.
The MLA had an opportunity to ask Minister for Transportation Infrastructure and Renewal Lloyd Hines about it during budget estimates in the legislature on Monday.
“Minister Lloyd Hines indicated that they’re well underway into the preliminary stages of design for that exit, and that they’re very hopeful that it will be incorporated into the upcoming Five Year Highway Improvement Plan.”
The plan is expected to be released in December.
LeBlanc indicated that he intends to push for short-term solutions in the interim.
