It looks like the repairs are working and the pool at the Yarmouth YMCA will be open soon.
In a release, the Y’s manager says the repairs are underway after a light fixture crashed to the pool deck on December 10th.
Once the repairs are completed, the staff will have to get the area cleaned and refill the water.
They expect swim lessons and aquatics to restart on January 11th, one week from tomorrow.
They will also have to make sure the water is the correct temperature and make sure they have the proper balance of chemicals.
