The South Shore’s annual lobster celebration is no tinker now.
The Nova Scotia Lobster Crawl Festival will be bigger than ever with more than 150 events and experiences planned for the month-long shellfish feast.
Festival Director Menna Riley says they’re striving to showcase the best of the South Shore’s lobster offerings with themed dining, accommodations, events and tours of lobster pounds.
“We actually have a lobster pound down in Barrington and they have an outdoor tidal pool where they store the lobsters,” she explained. “So you get to learn a lot about the lobster fishing industry as well as having all of these culinary, incredible experiences.”
The festival kicks off January 31 and runs throughout February.
