The public will have a chance to see a brand new medical facility in Shelburne.
There will be an open house during the Shelburne Primary Health Care Clinic’s official opening next week.
Health Authority spokesperson Fraser Mooney says the facility, adjacent to Roseway Hospital, was specially designed to house a collaborative family practice
“Doctors, nurse practitioners, family practice nurses; it’s really a good opportunity to come in, see how the space was designed to help facilitate these practitioners and to meet the members of the team to hear from them.”
Mooney, a spokesperson for the Nova Scotia Health Authority says there will be an open house Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. for the public to see how the facility is laid out and meet the healthcare team.
“Currently, we have four doctors, three nurse practitioners, and two family practice nurses, one of them works half time, plus their support team of clerical and administrative support.”
The open house takes place Tuesday February 12 between 4 and 6 p.m.
