*The Scotiabank Western Riptide white Peewee A girls won twice at home on Saturday, 4-2 and 4-3 over Metro West Force red.
In the first game, Renee Olsen had 3 goals and Marissa Fevens had one. The assists went to Alyssa Boudreau-Poole, Katie Atkinson and Kalli Goreham. Chloe Surette was in net.
In the second game, win, Mercedes Melanson scored twice, while Renee Olsen and Issabelle d’Entremont netted one each. Katie Atkinson, Renee Olsen, Kiersten Kenney and Issabelle d’Entremont each assisted and Marissa Fevens was in net.
*The Yarmouth Scotiabank Western Riptide White Bantam A Girls team split a pair of games with Pictou for two games this weekend.
They lost the first game 3-2 with goals by Chloe Swaine and Carly Kini with assists by Ocean Sears and Emily Crosby.
In the second game, Madison Cushing and Carly Kini each had a goal and an assist in their 2-0 winand one assist. Jada MacKinnon and Courtney Fitzgerald also had one assist each and Sophie Thimot was in the net for both games.
