There are a couple of municipal Christmas Tree lightings coming up.
The Municipality of Yarmouth hosts their ceremony Friday evening.
It takes place outside the municipal administration building in Hebron with activities beginning at 6pm.
There will also be hot chocolate, cookie decorating and hayrides.
The Municipality of Argyle holds its tree lighting Sunday night at 6pm at the Tusket Courthouse and Archives.
Ginette d’Entremont, Argyle’s Director of Programming and Active Living says it will be a festive night.
“We’re going to have a little bit of singing, a little bit of talking from the dignitaries and then counting down to the tree lighting. We have a beautiful 15-18 foot tree set up.”
After the lighting there will be hot chocolate, apple cider and cheese and crackers.
And of course Santa Claus !
