The Spears and McLeod Pharmasave Pee Wee AA Mariners started off the regular season this weekend with two road wins.
They defeated Acadia 2-1 on Saturday, and Western Valley 5-3 on Sunday.
Scoring was Riley Hubbard, netting two goals, along with Krew Goodwin, Russell Pinksen, Cameron Barnes, Ryder Travis, and Luke MacLeay.
Winning goaltenders were Braeden Hipson and Charlie Whitty.
Next on their schedule are two Saturday home games.
The Yarmouth Scotiabank Western Riptide White Peewee A girls played two away games on the weekend.
On Saturday they played Metro West Force White and won 1-0.
Goal was scored by Madison Cushing with the assist by Ocean Sears.
Yesterday they played Metro East Inferno Gold and won 4-0.
Carly Kini scored two goals, Marissa Fevens and Havannah Perry each had one. Courtney Fitzgerald, Havannah Perry and France Boudreau each had an assist.

They lost both games, 2-0 to West Hants and 7-2 to Acadia.

Brady Saulnier was in the net for both games facing a total of 64 shots.

The Yarmouth J. Strong Atom A Mariners started their league season Saturday with a 7-2 win over the Queens County Cougars.
Scoring for Yarmouth was Sawyer Kristensen with 2 goals and 1 goal each from Ryder Pinksen, Colby d’Eon, Bryce Fitzgerald, Marcel Jacquard and Karter Bain.
Assists went to Karter Bain and Colby d’Eon.
Lukas Nickerson and Benoit Sealey were in net.
Then the Mariners traveled to Bridgewater to play the South Shore Ice Sharks but lost 9-0.
