Bay Ferries says there’s a problem with one of the engines on the Cat ferry.
It will not sail on Sunday July 2.
In a news release the company says it is investigating a technical issue with the engine along with the manufacturer.
The vessel has four engines.
It says until the problem is fixed, the Cat, which sails between Yarmouth and Portland, will be operating with slightly longer transit times.
The ferry was late arriving in Yarmouth Friday night.
Bay Ferries also says selected service cancellations may take place and, if that happens, customers will be contacted directly.

Bay Ferries says they apologize for any inconvenience.
