Baseball season is almost here.
Those in the major leagues are almost set for the regular season.
The wait is a little longer for local minor baseball.
Argyle Minor Baseball is preparing for its second season.
Director of Recreation Services in Argyle Natalie d’Entremont says they are looking for coaches for kids between the age of 4-7.
She says they fielded six teams last year.
“That included the rookie, mosquito and peewee divisions. We do have some coaches for those divisions, but we always welcome other coaches.”
The teams competed against Yarmouth and Shelburne teams, and played in Wedgeport and Pubnico.
In all, 78 kids registered.
If you are interested in becoming a coach this season, contact the Argyle Recreation Department at 902-648-3379.
