185 graduates walked across the stage at Mariners Centre today.

Awards were also given out.
Paul Mullen received the Governor General’s Academic Medal in welding, Ashley Roberts won the NSCC Board of Governors Award, the NSCC Foundation Award went to Tracey Brake, the NSCC Gold Medal was awarded to Adrienne Saulnier and the President’s Award was presented to Anneke Wigle.
The valedictorian was Ashley Carty, a graduate of the cosmetology program.
NSCC President Don Bureaux handed out the diplomas.
He says it’s important to celebrate what the students have accomplished, and mark the point at which they begin the next chapter of their lives.
