A big game tonight at the Fishtank.
The Yarmouth Mariners host the South Shore Lumberjacks.
The Mariners will look to tie the Jacks in the standings for first place overall, and avenge a loss to South Shore on the road last Saturday.
Mariners Head Coach and General Manager Laurie Barron says they need to play a full 60 minutes.
"I didn't like our first period, even thought we did rebound to make it 3-2, I thought we probably should have tied it up. We had a lot of good chances. But I didn't think we were as good as we could have been for a full 60 minutes."
Barron says it's good for this area and the league that both the Mariners and Lumberjacks are competitive and chasing top spot.
He reminds fans that a new look will be unveiled tonight.
"We're going to unveil a new look, and we're really excited about it, and hope the fans really like it as well."
Puck drop is at 7:30.
It's Yarmouth's first home game since October 20th.
