The Yarmouth Varsity Boys Basketball team won the Grant Potter Memorial Tournament over the weekend.
In the championship game Saturday, the Vikings took down Annapolis West 95-80, with tournament MVP Skylar Baxter dropping 40 points, Matt MacPherson scoring 13 and Dylan Smith netting 12. Conner Trask was named MVP of the game.
Earlier in the day, Yarmouth defeated Forest Heights 91-74, with Baxter scoring 25 and Smith with 12. Game MVP was Skylar Baxter.
To start the tournament, Yarmouth narrowly got by Horton 58-54. Matt MacPherson had 14 points, Dylan Smith with 13, and the MVP was Randall Fells.
Later in the day, the Vikings beat West Kings 82-53, with 24 points from game MVP Dylan Smith and 23 from Matt MacPherson.
