A spokesperson for Nova Scotia's Serious Incident Response Team says an investigation into an incident in Yarmouth County last month is proceeding fairly well.
According to SIRT, on June 11th, two people were injured after two members of the Yarmouth Rural RCMP attempted to stop an ATV and a motorcycle.
The motorbike and the all-terrain vehicle crashed into each other, injuring both men, one of them seriously.
As a result, the RCMP contacted SIRT to report the incident as it involved injuries.
SIRT director Ron MacDonald says the team has gathered quite a bit of information already.
"I'm not able to say at the moment when it should be completed, but the timeframe will be relatively reasonable. I can't really speak about any of the facts gathered so far. It's only accurate to do that in a complete report at the end of the day. The investigation is going well, I'm very pleased with how this one has proceeded."
MacDonald says the team has interviewed witnesses, looked at forensic evidence and reviewed medical records.
