The 30 most remarkable Nova Scotians of the last 150 years are about to be honoured by the Nova Scotia Museum.

But the museum needs the public to vote on who those individuals are.

An exhibit will be created called, "Vanguard:150 Years of Remarkable Nova Scotians".

It will display photos and artifacts of the 30 Nova Scotians.

The public can select one person from each decade to be added to the list already compiled by the museum.

Nominees must have lived in Nova Scotia, made innovations in the province and made a significant impact at the provincial and national level.

The exhibit is part of Canada's 150th birthday celebrations.

It will open at the Museum of Natural History in Halifax in June and will become a travelling exhibit this fall.
