If you’ve purchased a box of Harvest Creek brand Chicken Nuggets or Cutlettes, you should check your freezer.
A recall has been issued due to possible Salmonella contamination.
The Public Health Agency of Canada is investigating 30 cases of infection that may be linked to the chicken products, with four in New Brunswick and 17 in Ontario. Four people have been hospitalized, becoming sick between May 2017 and February 2018.
If you have become ill after eating this chicken, you should report it to your doctor.
The products were sold at various stores in several provinces, including New Brunswick, Ontario and Nova Scotia.
It should be thrown out or returned to the store where it was purchased.
